As a fairly active, extremely busy single mom of two, there are days where I don’t get to actually pack myself a healthy lunch or even eat a healthy breakfast. Ever have those days? I know for myself those are the times when I just grab something in a wrapper – usually unhealthy – and head out the door. That’s when I discovered KIND bars, and they have quickly become my new favorite go-to snack!
My girlfriend and workout buddy was rarely seen without one after we’d left the trainer, but I’d never actually had one. So one day I bought one when we swung by the grocery store on the way home.
It. Was. Delicious.
I expected it to be grainy, smell like horse feed, and taste like cardboard. But it didn’t! It had FLAVOR! And it didn’t have a texture that turned me off. I actually liked it! So when I was chosen to do this review, I was really excited! I got a box of all different kinds of KIND bars, and I must say – with the exception of the peanut butter ones, which I can’t eat – they were amazing!
KIND bars have become a staple in my pantry, my purse, my gym bag, and my lunch box. They even got packed in our backpacks and kept me from getting hangry last weekend when my fiancé and I went zip lining for 5 hours!!!
Long story short, you definitely need to give these healthy little snacks a try. They’re gluten free, non-GMO, and come in some amazing flavors like Maple Pumpkin Seeds, Blueberry Vanilla, Oats and Honey, and even (my favorite!) Dark Chocolate! Trust me – they are definitely worth adding to your healthy snack rotation. And once they’re in the rotation, they’re guaranteed to become the new favorite go-to snack!
