Pine Bros Softish Throat Drops – Feel Better!

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertisement, however the opinions I provide are my own.

Pine BrosI know chilly temps are enough to be irritating, but the weather has vacillated between cold and damp to freaking frigid, which is the perfect weather to be in when you want to catch a cold.  Enter my new favorite winter accessory: Pine Bros Softish Throat Drops.  They’ve become something of a staple in my house this winter.  I received a box of them, and have been doling them out almost daily to my kids and friends.  They have kept us from being miserable coughing.  The taste is mild and slightly sweet, so they’re not too “mediciney” to give to my 6 year old (what?! It’s a word!), but they still stifle the coughs and soothed our sore throats.  They’re naturally flavored, and gluten free.  They aren’t hard like cough drops, but not chewy like gummy bears either, which is also something that makes them a good choice for little ones!

While this may come as a shock to most of you, it actually gets cold in Florida.  At least the part of Florida that I live in.  And when I say cold, I’m usually being whiny and thin-skinned because it’s only 35 degrees.  And if you asked me today, that’s what I would tell you.  But this winter has been insanely cold for this far south.  As in wind chills as low as zero.  Now before you start sending me pictures of your thermometers showing negative numbers, keep in mind: This is *Florida*.  As in “The Sunshine State”.  Loosely translated: Warm.  All.  Year.  And even though we know it will be “winter” here, rarely ever is it as cold as it has been this year.  I like to refer to it as Stupid Cold.  So while this stupid cold is still lingering, I’m very happy to be stocked up on Pine Bros Softish Throat Drops!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

  2. I have never seen these in any of our local stores, but I have this never ending cold and I’d love to try these! Off to figure out if I can at least order them somewhere!

  3. I have never heard of this brand before. Thank you!

  4. I’ve never heard of this brand, but I love that they aren’t too “mediciney”. That’s my biggest “beef” with the ones I usually get. My son, who is also 6, won’t take the normal ones because he hates the taste. I’ll have to give these a try! Thanks for sharing!

    • Gabby, my six year old LOVES these! And they actually do help!! Probably because he is WILLING to use them – unlike the ones which do taste like cough syrup. You can find them at CVS (I know for certain). 🙂

  5. I have not seen this brand before but I like that they are kind of soft. I will have to keep my out for them.

  6. I’ve never heard of this product but sure could have used some last week . Thanks for the review.

  7. It has been very cold in Georgia this winter, but thankfully my husband and I have not been sick. We rarely go out though, and wash hands several times a day. I hope it keeps working for us.
